In the fall we will be releasing a Tai Chi Mastery Program that will include a video program on tai chi push hands or tai chi tui shou that is relevant to all tai chi styles.
The push hands videos will show beginning to advanced methods. The system can be used in any tai chi training. We currently have about 30 hours of footage, but we have not yet filmed the advanced segments. If you are learning a tai chi form immediately after you learn a form, push hands is one of the most important practices you can do. It is enjoyable to practice.
If you don’t know about push hands, you can do a series of exercises with a partner. You can learn and feel the 8 core energies of tai chi. Push hands can be seen as a martial art practice, but it can also be used for health, healing and martial arts. I have dedicated an entire chapter to increasing sensitivity for the bedroom arts in an upcoming book.
In the coming months, we will be releasing more push hands videos. This helps spread the knowledge.
